Mission PostersAin't no party like a Mission party.

Feast with the BeastsImagine a warm summer day when the zoo in Madison opens its doors for free and there are food vendors and live music. That's what these posters promoted. Big hit for the kids.

I created the illustration in this poster in the style of the old science class film strip/video "Hemo the Magnificient." I recently bought it on DVD. That's how much of a great animation style it is.

The zoo also turned this into billboards, flyers, tickets and t-shirts.

Skirts & SneakersFundraising is a tough thing, so it's usually easier to accomplish by enticing people with booze and a cover. Skirts & Sneakers was raising money for Team in Training at Mr. Smith's a few years ago. This poster happens to be one of my favorites.

Sf Soiree Prom Night
You heard me correctly, we threw a prom party at the Hilton's Cityscape bar. It was a lot of fun and the attendance and attire rivaled even some of the early Yelp theme parties, if I do say so myself.

I think this could've blown up Sf Soiree had all of us not had real jobs.

Kanopy Dance
Kanopy is a modern dance company in Madison, WI. They're a great group of people that are known for their artistic and very expressive choreography. In their off time, they run a dance school. Like most art, they didn't have much of a budget, so I tried to create cheap, yet striking two color posters for Kanopy's shows.

Opera for the Young
Opera for the Young is an organization that puts on opera performances for children so they garner a better understanding of the art form.

I was hired to design and illustrate these in a very loose pen and ink style. I hope they didn't scare any kids.

Beantown
Just a funky poster for a big going away party. Not much else to say.

Old 97s
Show poster for the Old 97s when they came to Luther's Blues in Madison. I was hoping to get a signed copy from Rhett Miller and crew, but you can't have everything I suppose.
