Matt Leibel A great copy writer as well as master of the short story, I worked with Matt Leibel on both print and interactive projects. He has a very unique style and a sharp wit to match. I highly recommend him.
Matt, if you're reading this, that excellent novel of yours I read years ago better be out soon.
Oh, and I want dibs on the book jacket design.

Emily Tuszynski-Shea Since we happen to be on the writer kick at the moment, this is another writer I've worked with on hundreds of projects, some of them even on this site. This was a portfolio for Emily created in Flash as a standalone piece so she could wrap it up in a promotional packet.
She and I also used to watch Strongman competitions at lunch together. Good times.

Stone Korean Kitchen Quick little site I put together for the great guys over at Stone Korean Kitchen, authentic Korean cuisine. They're located on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. They needed something simple and classy and I did my best.
They have good reviews on Yelp, if you're in San Francisco, you should go check them out. Tell them I sent you.
Okay, maybe don't do that.

Sf Soiree
This was a little party planning outfit in the days before Yelp. In fact, when I got involved, we met a lot of bar owners, hotel managers pitching venues and then networked like crazy once it was up and running. Then once Yelp started, I helped recruit all of our Sf Soiree contacts to Yelp.
It's a small world after all.
But I love that the guys gave me free reign to design everything how I wanted with Sf Soiree. |

Web Icons
Being trained as an illustrator really helped my icon design. From cartoony to realistic to iconic, I've churned out quite a few of these little dudes.

Yelp Badges
Yelp let me back on the payroll to create some crazy badges you earn when you check into local businesses. I envisioned them to look all crazy like Pogs. Remember those?
Anyway, these were a ton of fun. Collect them all! But, I'm still rolling on these and more are sure to come.
From left to right we have: Sushi Sensai, Gym Junkie, Brewed Awakening, Soused, Instigator, Urban Farmer, Global Domination, Nighthawk, Big Night, Crosstown Magic, Glamorama, and Domesticated.
Check in on Yelp and see what you get. |
